Four Threads to You - Fiction and Fact as the Fabric of our Figment of Fabrication - Incomplete DRAFT

Harry Potter is based on two old and long narrative interpretations of reality

First: Harry Potter enters many other (under)worlds to destroy seven Horcruxes and thus kills Voldemort.

A. The oldest source of this story is Inanna descends into the underworld to visit the dead and goes through 7 gate ways and meets her own death.

B. The Egyptian Book of Gates has 7 gateways.

C. Carl Jung found Inanna’s journey and called it the hero’s journey.

D. Joseph Campbell found this to be a universal journey of hero’s.

E. George Lucas’s put this hero’s journey into the original Star Wars - Luke will eventually have to kill his father as he faces death himself and itself.

F. Harry Potter must destroy 7 things/Horcruxes, including himself, in order to destroy an ‘evil’ of an ‘other world’ who lives in the ‘world of shadows.’ Voldemort serves as a Darth Vader and sort of disfigured Osiris who lives in between the world of life and death, as he defied death and now lords over the world of the living.

Second: Norse Sagas

Third: King Arthur and Merlin

Fourth: Famous Witches of England
